Alice Madness Returns

It’s a great game,
but sometimes I need to see Lewis Carroll’s Alice.
She doesn't gather teeth.

My car now gets 250 miles to a quart of oil

I've tried acupuncture and holly water, but I think it wants to go out in a blaze of glory.
I also think it wants me to go with it.

I should get it a puppy.

A Thanksgiving Tale

We as a family were in the car traveling the hills and dales of CT to gather at my Mothers domain to eat when Mrs. ZZ notice she had broke a finger nail, “blast I was letting them grow long to get a manicure.”
I suggested that we call on the demon Arasmuth to fix her nail, “We’ll have to sacrifice a chicken and recite some satanic verse, but it could be easily done.”  Mrs. ZZ looked puzzled, but I reassured her that the cars upholstery had been recently Scotch Guarded.  “Of course he will want some document signed in blood, but whatever just get on with it I’ll tell him.”
Daughter ZZ pointed out that if we did this, when he got back to his smoldering underworld and reported in, he would be embarrassed how easy it was to complete his task.
Son ZZ, pointed out that we had arrived at Grandma’s.
The End?
Hope that your Thanksgiving is.  From the Family of Mr. ZZ

Happy New Year?

It just wouldn't be a new year without a prediction of doom.  I sadly don’t have one.
The only thing I have is my New Year resolutions, to quit smoking.  Okay I don’t smoke anyway, but it sounds good.
So if you have a prediction, or know of one that is for the end of the world this year, don’t be shy spread the gloom around.  Remember sharing is caring.

Fan Art of Bug Martini

Fire up the net and go to the comic Bug Martini.  I love the art and humor.

I made this fan art.

Thank goodness for the term “fan art” for you can use someone else’s intellectual property just as long as you don’t do it a lot or make a dime.  But why stop there my son ZZ junior made a comic and I love his style as well.  So now I have fan art” of someone’s none published cartoon strip as well.
But I can rip of my son all I want?

P.S. don’t tell my son.

Did Someone Say Red?

Ohhh...my head

I got drunk last night and when I woke up I found my blog had a tattoo.

Genuis

I thought it would become a genius. But I quickly found it cut into my nap time. That's when I decided on philosophy, because it's about thinking rather than thinking.

Coasters

You’re having a party your wife asks you to buy coasters.  You say yes and forget.  Well, print these free coaster designs on your computer and save your buttocks.  Will they work as coasters…of course not!  Just be sure to say something vague about a promotional coaster offer.

P.S. This is a vague promotional coaster offer so you don’t have to lie.

Ethics

Are you in an Ethics 101 course?  If so here are 4 rules that will help you pass.

1. What your teacher thinks is right, trumps your right.

2.  If you agree with your teacher he will think you’re kissing up, so say, “Wow I never thought of it that way before…”  Now he thinks he has made an impact on you.

3. Never think of anything as an absolute, use situational ethics at all times. Examples: But what if he is doing it for his kids?  But if you’re starving can’t you steal?

4. The teacher will have a favorite Author or person in the field.  Never quote them or refer to them in anyway.  You will always be wrong in your understanding and not in line with your teachers, even if you’re right see rule 1.

Old Time Art Fix

Use thicker water color paper so mistakes could be scratched away with a hobby knife.
Now you just fix it latter on the computer, if you use paper at all.

The good old days?

Vote For Me

My son and I like to act like politicians trying to get your vote when campaign ads come on the TV.
Usually it consists of saying America (in a positive voice), and that we support Arber day.
We then look sincerely in to each other’s eyes and nod with a self convicted sneer.

If in the ad he’s wearing a suit we say he should be in a shirt and tie.
If he’s in a shirt and tie, he should be in a suit.
If he does both in his ad we chide him for vacillating.

I’m Mr. ZZ and I support this rambling.

me write gooder

Often I actually want to write a story, but lack oh subject matter, main characters, and certain key things of interest.
Oh yes a timeframe would be lovely or maybe even a setting.

Sometimes I think the reader just wants too much from an author length is one thing 98 pages doesn't seem to satisfy most people.

Bob felt like his whole life was turned upside down, yes he moved to Australia. Connecticut seems like a faraway dream now especially since he woken up. He greeted the day but it did not greet him. We had the same breakfast as he had the day before since he put his finger down his throat. As he studied the morning paper he realized it was the same old story week after week, “I should really buy a new paper”. Bob quickly threw on his close and missed. No one at his job seemed to notice his lack of cloths especially since he was a ghost.  Yes he was late for work and the late Bob, the ghostwriter…bum bum bum.

 The end?

Well Written Books

There are some eloquent writers who can lavish the pages with words.
A 1000 page book is mere child's play to them.

To these grand authors detail is everything. A wall behind the main character in the opening of their book has shimmering light that dances upon it from the midday sun built by a man who lost his visa and needed money to get home yes even the wall has a back story. Back-story is more important than plot.

With enough back-story you can have a 2000 to 5000 page book with ease.
Some book reviewers wouldn't even think of reviewing a book under 2000 pages.

Oh yes and sad is good!
Bob had a great visit with his Uncle Fred even though he lost his leg and a bit of his sanity.

Conscience

The story of Pinocchio has always bothered me because his conscience is a grasshopper. Example “Pinocchio you really shouldn't do that”, one swift movement of the foot and crunch, “Now where was I, oh yes, burning down my neighbors house".

Pinocchio’s conscience should've been a T Rex, “Pinocchio, you really shouldn't do that or I will eat you.”; “Oh okay, thank you for the valuable insight.”

Failure

Failure builds character.  It also increases debris on the bottom of the sea.
