Arty R R

If you do your art on a computer every print is as good as the first, because there will be no printing plate degradation.  In the past, before computers, an artist would number their prints because the lower the number the better the print.
Some artist will have on offer a giclee print, but it still is an inkjet or digital print.  It just sounds better in an art gallery.
As long as the file can be accessed is as long as prints can be made. Printing only 100 prints then wiping the file would make the art worth more.  So Artist's must destroy their work to make more money, but maybe loose fame for their art when they die if none of their art survives.
Surprisingly hand signed prints are worth more for the touch of the artist than the work of the artist.
